Conversion optimisation / usability

What is usability? The more useful your website, the more visitors will convert (proceed with the desired goal). Optimising the usability of your website results in more sales while expenses remain the same, in other words it is an improvement of your ROI (Return On Investment).

A conversion optimisation project at MAXXON online marketing typically contains:

  • an identification and analysis of the key pages to increase site conversion
  • a list of suggestions for improvement, based on experience and creativity
  • implementation of the selected suggestion through a so-called A / B or multivariate testing, for example 50% of website visitors see version A (= old situation) and the other 50% see version B (= new situation)
  • an analysis of the A / B or multivariate test, including conclusion and advice

The conclusion provides an answer to the question whether the new situation converts significantly better than the old situation. If this is the case we recommend to demonstrate the new situation to 100% of site visitors. In case of promising new ideas, we start a new test in order to increase the conversion rate again.
